We use 20mm solid rails from top to bottom. Post spacing is at 1m intervals. Rail spacing at the bottom of the fence is closer together and increases gradually for each next spacing up the fence. 6 bar fences are ideal for retaining young lambs and the extra rail makes an even stronger fence against pushing livestock.
